Someone on another site suggested that the PCI probably isn't getting enough power from the 24pin header on the motherboard and GPU's will throttle down to reduce power and prevent them from melting the 24 pin header and freezes the whole pc in the process requiring a manual reset. Dont know if it happens with just 1 gpu, ran a test with 1 GPU for 15hours no freeze, stopped that test. This freezing happens if i run 2 or 3 GPU's, tried all kind of configurations, all on powered risers, 1 or 2 on riser etc. Im am 100% sure the problem in my rig is the motherboard, tested everysingle other piece of hardware on my other rig and they work perfectly.
